PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc welding method by which more beautiful scale-like bead is formable.SOLUTION: The arc welding method includes: a first step (S2) where droplets are transferred while generating an arc by making a welding current between a consumable electrode and base material to flow so that the average value of absolute values is a first value; and a second step (S5) where the state of the generation of the arc is continued by making the welding current flow so that the welding current has a second value in which the average value of the absolute values is smaller than first value, wherein the first step (S2) and the second step (S5) are repeated. In the second step (S5), the feeding rate Vf of the consumable electrode is corrected (S11) so that the welding voltage Vfa between the consumable electrode and the base material is the target voltage value Vds which is set in accordance with the welding voltage between the consumable electrode and the base material in the first step (S2). |
