PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner satisfying high speed, high image quality, high durability, low environmental load, coping with various kinds of media, and high environmental stability.SOLUTION: The toner includes: toner particles containing a binder resin, a colorant, a styrene resin containing a carboxyl group and polyester resin; and an inorganic fine powder; wherein the toner particles are manufactured in an aqueous medium, when the acid value of the styrene resin is A (mgKOH/g) and the acid value of methanol soluble component of the styrene resin is B (mgKOH/g), the relations, 50≤B≤110 and 2.0≤B/A≤10, are satisfied, and the weight average molecular weight of the styrene resin is 10,000-30,000, and when the acid value of methanol soluble component of the polyester resin is C (mgKOH/g), the relation, 1.1≤C/B≤3.0, is satisfied; the content of the styrene resin is 8-30 pts.mass; and the content of polyester resin is 1-10 pts.mass per 100 pts.mass of binder resin. |
