PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a cost increase and structural complication to attain practical implementation of an eccentric rotation type compression mechanism carrying out four-stage compression with compression mechanisms having cylinders and annular pistons arranged eccentrically with respect to the cylinders, and formed with a plurality of cylinder chambers between the cylinders and pistons and further formed with intake ports and discharge ports one each of which communicates with each cylinder chamber.SOLUTION: This rotary compressor is formed with four or more cylinder chambers (23a-23d, 33a-33d) between a pair of cylinders (21, 31) and pistons (22, 32), i.e., formed with the cylinder chambers (23d, 33d) of the first stage compression mechanism, the cylinder chambers (23c, 23b) of the second stage compression mechanism, the cylinder chambers (33c, 33b) of the third stage compression mechanism, and the cylinder chambers (23a, 33a) of the fourth stage compression mechanism. |
