MAGNETIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY AND CORRESPONDING SPLIT PHASE MOTOR

A magnetic transmission assembly is adapted to be combined with a motor or generator. The magnetic transmission assembly comprises a rotor, a stator and a magnetic conducting component. The rotor and the stator are set together coaxially and respectively have R and ST1 pole pairs. The magnetic conducting component, which has magnetic conductors, is set between the rotor and the stator. When the magnetic conducting component is actuated, the magnetic conducting component selectively makes PN1 or PN2 magnetic conductors above mentioned set between the rotor and the stator. The magnetic conductors corresponding to the rotor and the stator interact with the magnetic fields produced by the R pole pairs and the ST1 pole pairs and hence achieve the predetermined speed change ratio. The driving power density can be improved by internally combining the magnetic transmission assembly with the electric motor.
