摘要 The present invention consists in a process for manufacturing a precipitated silica which properties allow the same to be used as a reinforcing load mainly in the manufacture of tyres for commercial and high-speed automotive vehicles. The product has excellent reinforcing properties, which increases the percentage thereof used in different formulations of rubber in diverse industrial applications. Surface Area BET: 100-250 m2/g. Surface Area CTA.: 90-210 m2/g. Ratio BET/CTA.: 0.8-1.3. Absorption DBP: 190-280 g/100g. Linseed oil absorption: 140-180 g/100g. The precipitation process is based on the use of alkali metal silicate (preferably sodium silicate), different types of mineral acid (sulfuric, hydrochloric and muriatic preferably) and an initial reaction medium including a solution with an electrolyte which preferably comprises sodium sulfate and sodium chloride. The precipitated silica thus obtained has a dispersion higher than 98% in the different rubber formulations.
