PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of performing an appropriate image projection in accordance with various contents and reducing costs by eliminating facilities for condition settings, and to provide a setting method of the same.SOLUTION: A controller 11 transmits usage information to an information provision server 50 specified in response to operation of a key input processor 13 that is an input section, receives from the information provision server 50 operation setting information prepared by the information provision server 50 in accordance with the usage information, and adjusts an projection operation which is performed by an image processor 15 and an image projecting section 17 on the basis of the operation setting information. Therefore, an appropriate image projection can be performed in accordance with various pieces of image information and while eliminating facilities for condition settings, appropriate operation settings can be performed in accordance with specifications or usage of a projector 10. |
