PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp attachment adaptor, which can respond to a plurality of different sealing hooks and can facilitate attachment of a cover, and a luminaire using the lamp attachment adaptor.SOLUTION: The lamp attachment adaptor 22 is configured so that expansion elastic deformation of an inside cover 81 can be minimized by projections which never affect the mutual support by changing the height of a thread ridge along the outer circumferential surface of an adaptor body 36. Therefore, the deformation deterioration of a cover 23 can be suppressed.
