PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door braking device capable of surely preventing fingers or the like from being caught when a door closes with simple configuration.SOLUTION: The door braking device includes a base member 20 mounted to a door frame, and a braking member 30 mounted to the door and entering the base member when the door closes. The base member has two sliding surfaces facing each other to hold a moving path of the braking member in between, and the braking member comprises two pushers 32, 33 facing the two sliding surfaces and slidably engaged with each other in a direction to enter the base member while having such a taper that the two pushers are separated from each other. The door braking device 10 is configured such that, when the braking member 30 enters between the sliding surfaces of the base member 20, one pusher slides in an opposite direction to the entering direction into the base member with respect to the other pusher. The two pushers are thereby energized in mutually separating directions, and the closing movement of the door is restrained by frictional force between the two pushers and the two sliding surfaces. |
