PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content transmitting apparatus and content receiving apparatus in which a transmission status of contents can be notified at a content receiving side.SOLUTION: When duplicating contents recorded in an HDD 7 of a recorder 1 to an SD card 200 loaded in a mobile phone 100 connected via a USB cable 300, an SCSI command transmitting/receiving unit 10 transmits a vendor extension SCSI command to an SCSI command transmitting/receiving section 118 after the end of duplication. The SCSI command transmitting/receiving section 118 notifies the end of the duplication at a side of the mobile phone 100 in accordance with a notification method indicated in the received vendor extension SCSI command. As the notification method of the duplication end, there are ending sound from a sound effect speaker 113 provided in the mobile phone 100, lighting-on by an LED 112, vibration of a vibrator 111, display on a display section 106, and the like. |
