PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition for a ball-point pen with the excellent water resistance and writing feeling without the risk of show-through of handwriting.SOLUTION: The O/W type emulsion ink composition for a ball-point pen includes at least an oil-based ink component (A) including an oil-soluble dye and an organic solvent capable of dissolving the dye and having 5 g or less solubility to 100 g of water at 20°C, an emulsifier component (B) including at least a nonionic surfactant and a 14-24C higher alcohol, and water. The oil-based ink component (A) is emulsified and dispersed in the water. |
