PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent intrusion of water into a driving mechanism section of a device for inhibiting exit of a vehicle, which inhibits the exit of the parked vehicle.SOLUTION: This device for inhibiting the exit of the vehicle makes the driving mechanism section 8 housed in a storage box 9. The driving mechanism section 8 enables a lock section 2 to be selectively driven to a locking position to rise and inhibit the exit of the parked vehicle and an unlocking position to be brought down and allow the exit of the parked vehicle. The storage box 9 includes a case 16 which is constituted to open a top surface and prevent the intrusion of the water from a surface except the top surface and placed and fixed onto a base 4 in the state of housing the driving mechanism section 8, and a cover 17 which is placed and fixed on the base 4 in the state of covering the case 16 by providing a space 19 between the case 16 and the cover 17. The intrusion of the water into the case 16 can be prevented by having an air pool 21 formed in the storage box 9 by the intrusion of the water into a space, below the top surface of the case 16, in the space 19. |
