PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in a conventional manner, a jamming detection time is uniquely determined regardless of a paper-to-paper distance when the paper-to-paper distance becomes shorter than the jamming detection time, jamming detection is delayed, then, there is a possibility that the succeeding sheet collides with the preceding sheet.SOLUTION: Jamming detection timing is accelerated by variably controlling jamming timing in accordance with the paper-to-paper distance. Then, even if the jamming occurs, the jamming detection is appropriately performed, and accordingly, the possibility of the collision between the preceding sheet and the succeeding sheet is reduced. |
