PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress battery power consumption by preventing use of power of hazard lamps poorly contributing to alerting the other vehicle.SOLUTION: In a vehicle hazard control system, a hazard switch (22) includes independent instruction switches (22b1 and 22b2) which generate instruction signals for independently flashing on and off front hazard lamps and rear hazard lamps among the hazard lamps (40). The vehicle hazard control system includes: a control means (1) for independently controlling the flash of the front hazard lamps (41 and 42) and the flash of the rear hazard lamps (43 and 44) based on the instruction signals; and a lamp driving means (10) for independently driving the front hazard lamps and the rear hazard lamps based on the control means. This construction eliminates the need to use the power of the front or rear hazard lamps which are invisible to a driver of the other vehicle and are not contributing to alerting, thereby suppressing the battery power consumption. |
