PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pattern on a coating film layer, which is formed on the rear surface of a transparent base material by hydraulic transfer, from being disturbed.SOLUTION: A transfer jig 9 is set to a transparent base material 5 so as to prevent the occurrence of a level difference on the projecting-end side of each engaging part 5b and to fill the whole region between the adjacent engaging parts 5b. The transparent base material 5 set with the transfer jig 9 is immersed into water while inclining the transparent base material with respect to the water surface W1 such that the projecting-end side of each engaging part 5b faces downward. A coating film 13 floating on the water surface W1 is hydraulically transferred onto both sides of the transparent base material 5 by water pressure so as to form a coating film layer 7. Then, the transparent base material 5 is taken out from water in order to remove the coating film layer 7 on the surface side of the transparent base material 5. |
