Drying device for cold rooms, in which moisture is precipitated on the walls of the room, comprises a nozzle box (11) exhibiting at least one nozzle, preferably several nozzles, through which air is conducted into the cold room; and a ventilator (16) to generate an accelerated and directed air flow via the nozzle, where at least a fan impeller (15) of the ventilator is arranged to generate the air flow within the nozzle box, and does not extend over the envelope. An independent claim is also included for drying walls or ceiling in the cold rooms, whose temperature is -40-20[deg] C, preferably -10-12[deg] C, comprising sucking air from the cold room, accelerating the sucked air, and conducting back the sucked air into the cold room with a flow rate of 5-30 m/second, preferably 12-20 m/second.
