The holder (1) has a holding member (8) laterally displaced to a storage unit (5) in original position and convertible to a halt position in which the member is arranged above the storage unit for holding a beverage container. The member moves from the original position to the halt position by rotary movement about a pivot bearing (7). A retaining ring (9) and a spacer (10) are formed as one-piece. The spacer is arranged between the ring and the bearing in such a manner that a rotational axis (A) of the bearing is at distance (alpha) from a level (e) that is spanned by the ring.
