FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method of obtaining a product containing inflammable fuel from biomass raw material. The method involves pretreatment of biomass raw material having density less than approximately 0.5 g/cm3 using one or more pretreatment methods. The pretreatment methods are selected from a group comprising irradiation, ultrasonic treatment, pyrolysis and oxidation. Pretreatment via irradiation involves irradiation with an electron beam.
