PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely join end parts to each other by reinforcing joining of the end parts of butt-joined tire component members.SOLUTION: End parts 71, 72 of tire component members 70 formed from rubber are butt-joined to each other by a pair of joining rollers 40A, 40B composing a butting unit. While both end parts 71, 72 of the abutted tire component members 70 are pressurized by the friction surface 51 of a reinforcing roller 50, the reinforcing roller 50 is rolled on both end parts 71, 72 of the tire component members 70. As the reinforcing roller 50 is rolled, both end parts 71, 72 of the tire component members 70 are rubbed on the friction surface 51, thus reinforcing the joining of the joined part 73. |
