PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object identification device and method, improved in object identification accuracy, and to provide a learning method of the object identification device.SOLUTION: In the object identification device 100, a plurality of identification units 111 determine whether an identification object image is included in a detection processing object image in advance respectively, and a determination unit 113 finally determines, only when a "true" signal is output from all the identification units, that the identification object image is included in the detection processing object image. Each identification unit 111 includes a plurality of strong discriminators 121, mutually connected in parallel, with each of the discriminators corresponding to an optional combination within a plurality of classes; and an OR arithmetic unit 122 which outputs the "true" signal, when even one of the plurality of strong discriminators 121 determines that the identification object image is included in the detection processing object image. |
