PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector where it is unnecessary to grind tip surfaces of fiber cores even if there are significant variations in projecting lengths of the fiber cores projecting from an end face of a connector for supporting a fiber array.SOLUTION: A collimator 20 has a plurality of through-holes 24 into which the fiber cores 44 projecting from a joint end face 34a of a fiber supporter 30 can be inserted. A pair of a collimating lens 26A and a convex lens 26B are disposed in each through-hole 24 in an optical-axis direction away from each other. The collimating lens 26A is movable in the optical-axis direction and biased in a direction toward the joint end face 34a of the fiber supporter 30 along the optical axis by an elastically deformable element 28. |
