PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of an image caused by white flickers and black flickers.SOLUTION: This display 1 calculates first emitted light quantities of a plurality of light sources 4a-4d based on the brightness of a first input image, and also calculates tentative emitted light quantities of the plurality of light sources 4a-4d based on a second input image. The display 1 limits a variation range from the first emitted light quantity based on the comparison result of the first emitted light quantity and the tentative emitted light quantity, and decides the second emitted light quantity of each of those light sources based on the limit when displaying the second input image. The display 1 controls each of the plurality of light sources based on the second emitted light quantity. |
