PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that prevents image concentration deviation in a main scanning direction due to deviation of light emission intensity in the main scanning direction, and arbitrarily adjusting the image concentration deviation in the main scanning direction.SOLUTION: The image forming device stores: a light quantity correction table A including first light intensity adjusting data for adjusting intensity of emission light of an optical writing device so as to correct the deviation of light intensity in the main scanning direction caused by characteristics of the optical writing device; and a concentration correction table A' including second light intensity adjusting data to be set for each emission place in the main scanning direction separately from the first light intensity adjusting data so as to adjust intensity of emission light of the optical writing device for correcting the deviation of the image concentration at an arbitrary emission place in the main scanning direction. The intensity of emission light of the optical writing device is controlled when light is scanned and emitted in the main scanning direction, based on the first light intensity adjusting data and the second light intensity adjusting data. |
