PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head separated camera device and video signal processing method capable of reducing effects of jitter or skew caused by ensuring (resetting) a clock or delay of a signal from a head provided separately when the head is separated.SOLUTION: A head separated camera device is configured by connecting an imaging unit and a control unit which controls the imaging unit via a cable. When prescribed timing or a specific operating state is generated from a PLL circuit provided on a pre-stage of an asynchronous FIFO memory, a reset signal is supplied to the asynchronous FIFO memory, and an image sensor that the imaging unit includes is controlled by a drive signal sent to the imaging unit. A video signal including a clock signal or a synchronizing signal output from the image sensor is received by the control unit, converted into a standardized video signal through a signal processing circuit with the asynchronous FIFO memory, and output. |
