STORAGE SYSTEM, LOAD DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT METHOD FOR THE SAME AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system for performing a high-speed file service even to a dynamic or rapid change of a load by advance load distribution based on load prediction.SOLUTION: This storage system includes: file servers connected to a first management device executing a job; a storage device connected to the file servers; and a second management device connected to the file servers and the first management device. In the storage system, a means managing a load of the second management device predicts a load of the first management device and executes the load distribution, and a means managing a file system of the second management device moves the file system to a server having a low prediction load from a server having a high prediction load of the file servers according to the determined load distribution.
