<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the whole required time from printing instruction to printout by practically using a processing time of conversion of printer setting data to perform prerendering. <P>SOLUTION: This print control system has: a setting data conversion part 12 converting print job setting data or print job specification data included in print job definition data into the printer setting data necessary to set a printer 20; a standard setting database 13 storing standard printer setting data referred so as to decide whether or not the printer setting data fits the standard printer setting data after converting the print job definition data into the printer setting data in the setting data conversion part 12; and a prerendering part 15 executing rendering processing based on the standard printer setting data 13b in parallel with conversion processing by the setting data conversion part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
