Device for transporting and separating smoking rods

The device has a transporting device (1) for supplying smoke rods (10) in a transporting direction, and a discharging area (8) in which a longitudinal axis of the rods is aligned transverse to the transporting direction. Another transporting device (2) transports the rods away from the discharging area in another transporting direction along the longitudinal axis. The latter transporting device has an attachment (20) for pushing the rods from the discharging area, where the attachment is movable in a gap between the former transporting device and a stop (4) in the discharging area. An independent claim is also included for a method for separating and transporting smoke rods.
