A solid-fuel stove has a combustion chamber 1 from which smoke is discharged into a tube 3 down which liquid (e.g. water) is sprayed from a nozzle 4 into a tank chamber 8. The smoke particles form a scum which is discharged from the chamber 8 by a liquid jet 10 to waste 12. Remaining gaseous products leave chamber 8 at outlet 14. A pump 5 provides liquid for the nozzle 4 and liquid jet 10. The stove does not require a chimney by separating and collecting waste smoke content. |
