<p>The electrode support arm (1,2,3) is formed as a box-shaped, steel hollow profile (4,5,6) with an electrode retainer (10,11,12) arranged at its front end. The steel hollow profile comprises an outer side wall area made of copper in some areas as high conductive current-carrying material. The wall area is applied on the steel hollow profile as galvanic copper sheathing (7,8,9). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an electrode support arm.</p> |
