<p>This invention relates to an arrangement for an adjustable bed (1). The arrangement comprises an inner support stand (4), a mattress support (3) for supporting a mattress (2), and an outer frame (5) laterally enclosing the support stand (4). The mattress support (3) is supported by and extends laterally outside the inner support stand (4). Further, the outer frame (5) is supported by the support stand (4) and is movable independently with respect to the mattress support (3) as well as the inner support stand (4). With the arrangement according to the invention, squeezing during operation of the adjustable bed (1) may be prevented.</p> |
