<p>The appliance has an upper case (1) housing a motor (2) associated with a control device (9) and a safety device (20). A rotary working tool is arranged in a work container. The safety device comprises a detection element (30) that actuates a safety switch (21) to operate the motor when a cup is placed between the upper case and the container. The detection element comprises a detection unit (31) i.e. detection body, that is pushed back by the container, and another detection unit (32) that is pushed back by the cup.
