<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic honeycomb filter in which pressure loss is low, an exhaust gas inflow side end part is hardly worn, and which is hardly broken and has excellent durability. <P>SOLUTION: In the ceramic honeycomb filter in which a desired flow path of a ceramic honeycomb structure is sealed and at least one exhaust gas inflow side sealing part is arranged away from an exhaust gas inflow side end face, the porosity of a partition wall on the upstream side of the exhaust gas inflow side sealing part is smaller compared with the partition wall on the downstream side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
