Substrate, where at least one dioxime unit of formula (HO-N=CR2-CR1=N-A(-N=CR1-CR2=N-OH)-(Y0) n-X-) (I) is immobilized at the surface of the substrate, is claimed. R1, R2 : H, halo, 1-20C ether, or 1-20C alkyl chain optionally interrupted by one or more heteroatoms and/or more aryl groups or 5-30C aryl optionally comprising one or more heteroatoms, where the ether, alkyl chain and aryl are optionally substituted by at least one OH, -NH 2, -NO 2, -COOH, -CONH 2, triazole ring or -COOZ1; Z1 : 1-5C alkyl, 1-5C alkoxy or halo; X : reaction product of click-chemistry type, aza-Wittig, peptide coupling or product resulting from the hydrogenation of the product obtained at the end of that aza-Wittig reaction; Y0 : a spacer arm; A : 2-3C optionally saturated hydrocarbon chain, or double bond (C=C) of 5-6C (hetero)aryl ring to which ring is attached Y0 (if n is 1) or X (if n is 0); and n : 0 or 1.
