According to the present invention, a helmet having a portable terminal control function comprises: an exterior member of the helmet; an impact absorption member located inside the exterior member of the helmet; a padding for comfort located within the impact absorption member; a contact sensing unit which is located either on the surface of the exterior member of the helmet or between the exterior member of the helmet and the impact absorption member, senses a touch or tap applied to the surface of the exterior member of the helmet, and accordingly, generates and provides a sensing signal; a communication module for communicating with a portable terminal; and a control module which sets and stores control commands for the portable terminal, corresponding to a plurality of input patterns, respectively, in a data storage unit in advance, detects an input pattern according to a sensing signal provided from the contact sensing unit, reads a control command for the portable terminal corresponding to the detected input pattern from the data storage unit, and transmits the read control command to the portable terminal through the communication module. |
