<p>The three-dimensional safety device (10) has a three-dimensional sensor (20) for capturing three-dimensional image data of a work place (12), a machine (16) and an operating person (14) at the work place. An evaluation unit (40) is provided to determine the movement patterns of the operating person. The evaluation unit is formed to convey user input from the movement patterns to the three-dimensional sensor or to the machine. An independent claim is also included for a method for securing and operating a machine in a cooperative work place.</p> |
