METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF DISTANCE TO PLACE OF OCCURRENCE OF A LOCAL DEFECT OF INSULATION AND RESISTANCE OF THE DEFECT IN DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS

Method for determination of distance to place of occurrence of a local defect of insulation and resistance of the defect in distribution networks includes measurement of values of parameters of mode of network and control of value of amplitude of current of zero sequence in which one uses for calculations a replacement circuit of the network, on basis of excess of the amplitude of current of zero sequence over permitted value one carries out determination of connection with local defect of insulation. Additionally one measures the values of vectors of current for each of three phases, and voltages with respect to earth.
