A method for prognostication of the course and estimation of risk of lethal outcome for patients with acute coronal syndrome comprises generally accepted clinical and instrumental inspections, clinical and biochemical blood analyses during hospitalization. As prognostica criteria the frequency of heart beats, level of haemoglobin (Hb) are determined. As a marker of the left ventricle disfunction and heart failure the level of H-terminal fragment of cerebral natriuretic peptid are determined, taking into account age of a patient. The course and risk of lethal outcome of HKS are estimated by prognostic table.
