The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to a method for protection against corrosion of the outer surface of a steel tank bottom, which is installed on concrete or earthen basis with a layer of sand filling or bunding. The method consists in placing corrosion inhibitor on a steel surface of the tank to ensure its contact with the external environment at a temperature of 25- and humidity up to 80 wt. %, at that the space between the bottom steel tank and its foundation is saturated with steam of the volatile corrosion inhibitor at a specified range of temperature and humidity, and as volatile corrosion inhibitor using a mixture of dicyclohexylamine nitrite and oxyethylidene diphosphonic acid at the following ratio of its components, wt. %: dicyclohexylamine nitrite – 99.9 and oxyethylidene diphosphonic acid - 0.1. The invention provides increasing term of protection steel tanks bottoms corrosion to 7 years. |
