The invention relates to a multi-band data transmission method which can be used to transmit data with the simultaneous use of more than one transmission band (9a, 9b) (where a band is a continuous range of frequencies) in order to increase the bandwidth that can be used in the transmission system and, consequently, the overall transmission capacity thereof.
