The device has product storage units comprising a container (16) with a double envelope defining an external space that defines a bowl (17) containing a product (18) and a sealed interior cavity (19). A conservation unit includes a heat pump with a condenser, a tubular evaporator (23), a compressor and a circuit allowing circulation of refrigerating fluid. The evaporator is placed inside the interior cavity such that liquid i.e. water, contained in the interior cavity is converted into solid state or heated by placement of the heat pump. A metal gutter is connected to the container.
