Disclosed is a CO shift catalyst which reforms carbon monoxide (CO) in gas, and which uses molybdenum (Mo) and/or cobalt (Co) as an active ingredient and an oxide of any one of, or a mixture or compound of, titanium (Ti), silicon (Si), zirconium (Zr), and cerium (Ce) as a carrier on which the active ingredient is loaded. The CO shift catalyst can be employed in a halogen-resistant CO shift reactor (15) that uses the same to convert the CO in gasified gas (12) produced by a gasification furnace (11) into CO.
