PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector which can suppress fluctuation of the focal position of a projection optical device.SOLUTION: The projector includes the projection optical device 4 which projects an image. The projector includes a heating unit 5 which heats the projection optical device 4, and a control unit which controls the heating unit 5. The control unit controls the heating unit 5 so that the temperature of the projection optical device 4 is equal to or higher than the temperature in which the focal position of the projection optical device 4 is stabilized. |
