PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of improving the stability of electric power generation and improving resistance characteristics of noise and vibration.SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a control device 45 having a reactant gas supply state quantity setting section 65 that controls a state quantity of a reactant gas where the control device further has a freezing-point lower temperature activation determination section 61 that determines whether or not an activation temperature when a fuel cell is activated is not higher than a freezing point, at least one of a current/voltage characteristic monitoring section 62 that monitors current/voltage characteristics of the fuel cell and a cell voltage stability monitoring section 63 that monitors the stability of a cell voltage by the electric power generation of the fuel cell, and a determination section 64 that determines whether or not the current/voltage characteristics and the stability of cell voltage are not lower than a threshold set in advance, and when the activation temperature is not higher than the freezing point, the state quantity of the reactant gas is increased to a first state quantity and when either of the current/voltage characteristics and the stability of cell voltage exceeds a first threshold, the state quantity of the reactant gas is set to a second state quantity lower than the first state quantity. |
