PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swivel caster including a leg part that can be extended and contracted by means of an electric motor and having an advantageous structure.SOLUTION: The swivel caster 1 includes a housing 4, a pivot bearing including two bearings 7, 8 which are vertically arranged, and the leg part 18 extendable and contractable by the electric motor 13. The electric motor 13 is positioned below the pivot bearing and at least below the upper bearing 7. The leg part 18 extends and contracts in a longitudinal direction as the electric motor 13 mutually works with a gear box 14 and the gear box 14 drives a threaded sleeve 17. |
