PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic water generator the electrolysis capacity of which is controllable using a fixed DC voltage, and which enables a heat sink for heat radiation to be made small thereby enabling a substrate to be made compact by suppressing loss due to adjustment of the electrolysis capacity.SOLUTION: The electrolytic water generator includes: an electrolytic cell having electrodes opposed to each other in a water passage; an H-bridge circuit connected to a DC power source for a prescribed voltage and a ground; and an energizing control means for switching the polarity of the DC voltage applied to the electrodes by changing the combination of an on-state and an off-state of a switching element. In the electrolytic water generator, the energizing control means controls the electrolysis capacity by periodically repeating application of a prescribed voltage to the electrodes with a prescribed polarity using two switching elements and stop of the application of the prescribed voltage when the current flowing to the electrode reaches a prescribed current value. In the H-bridge circuit, an inductor is connected at a position to be energized in series with the electrode. |
