PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase opportunity for satisfying the relationship between a bundle of recording materials and the position of a binding process applied to the bundle of recording materials when a transport direction of the recording materials is changeable.SOLUTION: The image forming system 1 includes: a first paper sheet supplying stack part 61 supplying paper sheets S in a direction in which a short side is a front end in a transport direction; a second paper sheet supplying stack part 62 supplying paper sheets S in a direction in which a long side is a front end in a transport direction; an image forming part 5; a compiling stack part 35 stacking a plurality of paper sheets S as a bundle; a stapler 40 binding a first end side in the bundle of paper sheets S stacked on the compiling stack part 35; a staple-free binding device 50 binding a second end side; a user interface 90 acquiring instructions of a binding position to the bundle of paper sheets S; and a control part 80 performing control for supplying the paper sheets S from either one of the first paper sheet supplying stack part 61 and the second paper sheet supplying stack part 62 based on the acquired position of the binding process. |
