PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable manufacturing method capable of being covered with a pair of insulating films while a plurality of conductors are regulated at a designated pitch spacing, and its manufacturing device.SOLUTION: A plurality of flat square conductors 2 arranged in parallel by being parallel with a conductor moving direction A are regulated with a conductor guide plate 7 arranged toward a contact section Bof heat rolls 4, 4 at the designated pitch spacing P, and are fed and guided by approaching to the contact section Bas much as possible. The flat square conductor 2 fed and guided in the vicinity of the heat rolls 4, 4 is heated and welded while the flat square conductor 2 is sandwiched between the pair of insulating films 3, 3 which are pressed with the heat rolls 4, 4. Thus, a flat cable 1 in which the insulating films 3, 3 are covered on both upper and lower surfaces of a conductor group 2A prepared with the plurality of flat square conductors 2 in parallel can be manufactured. |
