PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform image processing by highly precisely detecting an outer peripheral position of a drum even if the drum with low roundness is used.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: a scale image S formed at the entire periphery of a rotating drum 1; and a sensor unit SU for detecting intermittently the scale image S when the rotating drum 1 is rotated. The image processing apparatus also includes: a print managing part 53 which determines a relative positional relation between the outer peripheral position of the rotating drum 1 and a print head 9 by integrating signals detected intermittently, and sets the delivery timing of ink droplets by the print head 9. |
