PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball entering unit which can prevent a fraudulent action wherein the opening/closing wings are forcibly opened from occurring, and also, achieve space saving as well in the ball entering unit having the opening/closing wings which are used for a start winning port or the like, and to provide a game machine.SOLUTION: The ball entering unit 40 is one which has a flow-in opening. The ball entering unit 40 includes: a pair of the opening/closing wing members 41 which are attached to vicinities of the flow-in opening 41a, and realize the closed state and the opened state; a solenoid 46 which drives the opening/closing wing members 41; and transmitting mechanisms 43 and 44 which transmit the driving force of the solenoid 46 to the opening/closing wing members 41. The transmitting mechanisms include: a direction converting structure wherein the opening/closing movement of the opening/closing wing members 41 to a reciprocating movement having a longitudinal directional component; and a first locking structure which realizes the control and the release of the movement to the opened state of the opening/closing wing members 41 under the closed state. |
