PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify the presence of micro scattering body on an extracted cross-sectional image, in an optical image diagnostic device.SOLUTION: This optical image diagnostic device includes a calculation means (606) for calculating respectively a signal intensity change in a circumferential direction of the periphery of a transceiving part and a signal intensity change in a radial direction of in a body cavity, in a line data used for generating the displayed cross-sectional image, a specifying means (607) for determining whether or not the scattering body scattering a light transmitted from the transceiving part is present in a blood flow area, in the inside of the body cavity, based on a calculation result in the calculation means (606), and for specifying a position on the displayed cross-sectional image of the scattering body, when the scattering body is determined to exist, and a display means (611) for displaying a marker indicating the presence of the scattering body, in the specified position on the displayed cross-sectional image. |
