PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for a vehicle that stably supplies power to electrical equipment requiring holding voltage, without being affected by instant voltage reduction at starting an engine, in a simple structure.SOLUTION: The device has: a generator which is driven by the engine to generate power; a first battery which supplies power to a starter for starting the engine; a second battery which is connected to the generator and stores power generated by the generator; a DC/DC converter which is installed between the generator and the electrical equipment as well as between the second battery and the electrical equipment; an opener and closer which is installed between the first generator and the electrical equipment side of the DC/DC converter; and a controller which controls an operation condition of the opener and closer so as to supply power to the starter from only the first battery, when the engine starts. |
